Our Vision
DAMSELS, Inc is a 501c3, non-profit organization striving to promote life changing success for young girls between the ages of 10 and 19, by providing the essential tools needed for daily living and social development. DAMSELS, Inc. was established to help prepare young ladies to meet the challenges of adolescence and adulthood through a variety of experiences and activities that increase social, moral, emotional, physical, and cognitive competencies.
Our Approach
DAMSELS INC is an organization that encourages teen girls to reach their full potential in education, and in their personal lives. We believe in coming together to share ideas and learn new tools to become successful. We are dedicated to promoting and enhancing the status and influence of teen girls by providing opportunities for personal and professional development.

DAMSELS is an organization dedicated to helping teen girls in transition from the justice system to society. It is unique in that it is coordinated by women who themselves have had an involvement with the justice system in some way.
So many teen girls feel isolated and helpless with shame and guilt after experiences within the justice system. The feeling of normalcy quickly dissipates as she is at once faced with current life issues. Life becomes a race for which she is poorly equipped to manage.
Figuring out ways to fit in, be accepted, and yet still being able to know and be clear about who I am, what I stand for and what I want to do in life has been the inspiration behind my passion to help teens.
